About the Course

This is a Canada-wide program aimed at your "Right to Know". This simple to understand information system is used to assist and inform the employee about hazardous materials they might be working with or around. Pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation surrounding WHMIS, we provide a program which informs the participants about the eight hazardous classifications, Supplier and Work Place Labels, Material Safety Data Sheets, consumer product symbols the similarities to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and what is exempt from WHMIS.

The course participant will receive a certificate upon successful completion, which can be retrieved using the provided user name and password for up to one year after completion. WHMIS must be reviewed at least once per year. The course will take the average participant 45 minutes to complete.

We urge you to go slowly and fully understand the material, as once you move forward to the next subject, you cannot go back. A short test will be administered at the end of the course before your certificate is presented.
